Hani Judeh, MD

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Judeh is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He received his Bachelor of Sciences in Biology (Merit Scholarship – Cum Laude) from Long Island University in 2003, and graduated with Doctorate of Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in 2008.

In 2011, Dr. Judeh completed his Internal Medicine residency training at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens, Weill Medical College of Cornell University.

Dr. Judeh began his career as an Internal Medicine Attending Physician, Division of General Medicine, Mount Sinai St. Luke’s / Mount Sinai West, New York, NY in 2011. Within three years and due to academic excellence, Dr. Judeh became an Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai St Luke's and Mount Sinai West, and Assistant Professor of Medicine, Icahn School of Medicine. In 2013, Dr. Judeh became the lead Physician Advisor for the Clinical Documentation Improvement Department. He developed an educational approach for evaluating appropriateness of documentation to support quality standards (including PSIs, HACs, Mortality and readmissions), this approach has been accepted system-wide by the medical staff of the Mount Sinai Health System.

In 2015, due to his success in transforming clinical documentation improvement and physician to physician educational success, he was promoted as the Clinical Documentation Quality Improvement Medical Director for Mount Sinai St Luke’s. Dr. Judeh, while continuing the practice of medicine, accepted an administrative role and led the Utilization Review Program and developed internal initiatives for revenue cycle improvement across the system.

In 2016, prior to joining Accuity Delivery Systems, he became the System Medical Director of Retrospective Denials Management for the Mount Sinai Health System. In this role, he was the primary point of contact for appealing and working with the system and payor community., New York, NY. That same year, Dr. Judeh joined Accuity Delivery Systems in New York as the Chief Medical Officer.

Through his rapid career progression with the Mount Sinai System he has worked in various leadership roles where through collaboration he has been able to implement innovative programs with strong results such as physician led clinical validation; development of population health risk adjustment; and quality programs that profoundly improve quality of care while also increasing revenue; and, a best practice analytical approach to highlight documentation opportunities as well as process improvement.

Despite his increasing responsibilities, Dr. Judeh continues to practice medicine and serves as System Medical Director of Retrospective Denials Management at the Mount Sinai Health System.
