Ellis Landau


Former Board member of DDDS. Retired Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Boyd Gaming Corporation.

Mr. Ellis Landau has been the President and Treasurer of ALST Casino Holdco, LLC since February 6, 2012. Mr. Landau has been a Manager at ALST Casino Holdco, LLC. since November 01, 2011. He serves as Principal of W.A. Richardson Builders. He served as Boyd Gaming Corporation's Executive Vice President since January 1997 and served as its Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer since August 1990. He negotiated, structured, and managed major acquisition, development, and financial transactions for Boyd Gaming that played a role in taking it from a small private company to a large and successful public company with properties nationwide. He serves as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Boyd Kansas City Inc. and Boyd Kenner Inc. He served as Principal Financial Officer of ALST Casino Holdco, LLC. From April 1990 to July 1990, Mr. Landau served as Boyd Gaming Corporation's Consultant.

Prior to Boyd, he served in various capacities as a Financial Executive at Aztar Corporation (formerly Ramanda Inc.) for 19 years, where he served as its Vice President and Treasurer. He also served for U-Haul International in Phoenix, Arizona and the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. He has been an Independent Director of Full House Resorts Inc. since November 2014. He serves as a Director of Data Driven Delivery Systems, LLC. He has been a Director of Spectrum Group International Inc., since October 2012 and A-Mark Precious Metals, Inc. since March 2014. He served in the United States Army Reserve from 1967 to 1973. He served as an Independent Director of Pinnacle Entertainment Inc. from January 11, 2007 to 2011. He is President of Temple Beth Sholom in Las Vegas and is on their Executive Committee and Board of Directors. He is listed as founders of the Temple's Warsaw Memorial Garden. In 2006, he was honored as the Temple's "Man of the Year". He is a National Commissioner of the Anti-Defamation League and serves on the National Budget Committee, serves as Chair of the Las Vegas Regional Board, and is a sponsor of its No Place for Hate program. He is Treasurer and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Las Vegas Philharmonic and serves on its Executive Committee.

Mr. Landau received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Brandeis University in 1965 and an MBA/Master's degree in Finance from Columbia University School of Business in 1967.
